Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
-
Compliance with the Code of Ethics. The author(s) subscribe with their submission to the Ethical Code of publication of Virtualis journal based on the international code of ethics for authors for responsible scientific publications.
Likewise, the authors declare that, in the case that the research carried out includes research with human beings and/or their personal data such as observational, psychological or behavioral research in humans, participation of students pending evaluation by any of the researchers in the project, use of personal data or similar, the researchers have favorable certification of good practice issued by the Research Ethics Committee, or similar body, of the institution or institutions where the study has been carried out.
- Originality of the article and currency of the research. The submission corresponds to an original text, not previously published (neither partially nor totally) or currently under review for another scientific publication. When research data obtained by any method of information collection is presented, it must be recent, discarding those studies that are more than two years old. This will not be applicable in replication studies.
- Author participation. All authors signing the article have made a substantial participation in the development of the research corresponding to one or several of the roles defined by the CASRAI CRediT project. The order of signature follows the SDC approach (Sequence Determines Credit) model, so that the first author is the one who has made the most relevant contributions to the research, and the rest appear successively to the right indicating decreasing contributions. The roles performed in the research have been identified for each author according to the CRediT model.
- Time between publications and submissions. The authors declare that they meet the requirement of not having published an article in Virtualis journal in the last two volumes.
