The purpose of this article is to present and discuss some epistemological approaches around the concept of space, within the framework of the Computer Mediated Communication CMC. We conducted a -non exhaustive- literature review, that allows us to find network concerns, postures and problems woven in each conceptual proposal. We found that the cyberspace is studied in its technical and expressive properties, its relationship with the analog space, the globalization processes, the changes in the co-presence configuration, the social reorganization, communities"„¢ creation, the symbolic, political and economic power, it's relationship with the construction of meaning, among others. The approaches are mainly based upon Positivism, Dualism and Phenomenology.
